Orams - Live Webcast !!!!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Billy boy, whilst the roc blocks justice for the TCs, I see no reason why the GC should have any either. Either everybody in equal measure or none. As we have none so should the rest. If the good judge sees it any different, then.........

It sounds like the Court has little option but to rule in favour of Apostolides. Probably wont get a judgement this side of Christmas but the sound of it.

Wouldn't have missed it for the world brother/sister.

Fear you're right on the time it takes for these things.

As to the result? Well, at the lunchtime recess, when our Jerry and Mr Candounas exchanged smiles (and I swear on my virtual life this did happen) thought it's 100%, a dead cert. At the end on the way back to the station Jerry said 75/25 and I agreed with him on that, so you never know.

Hear hear. Nice work Jerry and Bill Cobbett for covering this for the rest of us and making sense out of the proceedings as non-journalists, and this is coming from someone who does court reporting for a living.

The Press benches are sore on the @rse after a few hours, eh? :)

Here's to a good result.

Gosh, thanks Eric. Had no idea you were a court reporter. Thinking of learning a little shorthand. What system would you recommend.

Yes def had a sore bum.

Yeah, I'm in a dying industry but still manage some serious analysis from time to time:

Shorthand is a great asset but my Teeline's about half the speed it was so I wouldn't have made a good secretary. It's pure theatre in there as you will have seen but can be great entertainment :)

At least if you're doing your job i.e. reporting and summarising what is said it's the one form of journalism where you can't really be accused of bias so you can feed to any title/side.

No the Court case is over, we could wait days, weeks or months for the result.

Cheers!

How do you and Bill fancy attending more court hearings and putting your expert observations on here?
(I am not taking away the seriousness of this particular case - I just love the 'reports')
