Orams - Live Webcast !!!!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Jimski999 » Mon Nov 16, 2009 3:32 pm

Hi YFred My Son in Law tells me the biggest land owner in his village just outside Paphos is a Turkish Cypriot and he owns a lot of land there. I was told he did return from the North and claim his land back though I can't actually confirm that. I do sincerely hope that one day soon your land will be returned to you.

I like court cases and this was like watching it on TV.Contrary to what Copper says about timing of result, my own guess is that they will stretch it out until something is decided on the Cyprob, whichever way it goes.I doubt the UK courts would want to be blamed for stuffing up the carpet baggers.Anyway, good work guys.

This is better than tv - I am totally hooked!

Bubboulia! Bou eese gori?

Here's a fashion report. Mrs O had an interesting hair-style. Largely a dyed strawberry blond with highlighted steaks of orange. She was wearing a blue denim jacket with embroidery in white thread picking out a wavy design with a moderate use of pearl-like sequins for emphasis. She wore blue suede shoes.

Oh dear, yes quite right mate ....

Mr O went for a more traditional, sombre look with an off-the-shelf suit in grey of a medium hue with fine-ish pin-stripes with a white shirt and tie and chose the usual brown open-toe sandals with white socks. His complexion was of a regretable rhubarb colour which showed through a very balding greyish white hairstyle and was in need of a visit to the barbers.

(Naughty, naughty B25.)

I believe, by the way, that the earliest public transcription of the judgement may come on this site ......

http://www.bailii.org/

... which is the British and Irish Legal Institute site, and which has, incidentally, all the past legal references to this case in its huge database.

Stop pretending not to understand. roc has taken 450000 donums of TC land. In 35 years how much of it did they give back? There are plenty of applications, but they seem to send the deeds man on donkey to karpaz and back.

If there's an injustice, don't be lazy. Seek justice in the relevant courts. And then, if necessary, appeal... until it gets to the ECJ or ECHR.

Then, assuming you have a case and have won, I'll congratulate you for securing your rights in the proper way; without resorting to murder, violence, ethnic cleansing, expropriation, etc. etc.

What I won't do is claim that your victory is unfair.

I was rather hoping for a settlement so I don't have to spend money on lawyers, but by april it may lead to that.
