You like? :D

Again you avoid the real question of the bitter pill you will be forced to swallow by acknowledging our community rights under a BBF with politcal eqaulity...you may cuss us all you want but the reality is something you will one day have to accept.

We will not accept for your minority any more rights than those that you allow to the Greek minority in Turkey.

Keep dreaming that you can force us to accept anything else.

If u keep going with this mentality, I'm afraid whole of Cyprus will become Turkic in the next 50 or 100 years.

Insan
The population of Kazakhstan; a Turkic' Country is about 16 million. around 40% of the population are Ethnic Russian, 40% Kazakh and the other 20% is made up of every minority group you can think of from Dongan Chinese to Germans to Koreans.
Simple mathmatics prove the the Turkish Cypriots are a minority on the island but by your arguement they should have equal voting power as the majority who happen to be Greek Cypriot;, the same arguement would say that the ethnic Armenians, Maronites, Latins should have the same rights. There are a few hundred Fillipino's and Bangladeshi's here with permanent residency; should they have the same voting power as the Turkish Cypriots? Where does it end?

Jimski, each and every multi-ethnic country have it's own unique characteristics;i.e historical background, geo-politics, independence struggle, co-existence of it's ethnic groups etc. What's ur point?

You didn't manage to make Cyprus Turkic when you were occupying the whole of it for 300 years and you think you will manage now?

Since we will not accept any bad solution, the more Turks you stack on top of you the worst for you. When Cyprus is liberated all those people will be send back to Turkey, and maybe you can join them ;)

I thought you were against multi-ethnic countries. Maybe Kazakhstan should be split and Russians to get the 70% of it? What do you think?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Kazakhstan

In 1897 Kazakhs constituted 80% of Kazakhstan but due to Russian expansion and oppression of Kazakhs; today Kazakhs constituted abt 60% of Kazakhstan.

Russians r happy under Kazakh rule so if they wanted a seperate state or political equality; they would have struggled for it.

That's what the people of Kazakhstan agreed on under their own unique circumstances of their own country but in Cyprus it won't work and it seems "political equality" works neither. So most likely, the struggle will end up with 2 sovereigne independent states in cyprus.

In the same way that your minority was created in our island due to Turkish expansion and oppression.

Every minority should be happy under a democratic rule as long as their human and minority rights are secure. Of course you are one greedy exception to this rule, which is why we have a problem in Cyprus while there is no problem in Kazakhstan.

Or maybe you think that your "brothers" the Kazakhs would grand half of their country to the Russians if the Russians asked for it? And the Russians there are 40%, not a tiny 18% like you.
