The point is not when it was revealed but sale of TC properties to GCs and even foreigners.

Didn't u know more than 20000 TC's couldn't enjoy they are properties since 1964.

2009-1964=45 years ...................

more than 65000 TC's couldn't touch they are properties since 1974.

2009-1974= 34 years and ............so called Turkish Cypriots properties management services excits for ...... years ........

and for them to talk or decide for their properties are after solution ......

before 1570 there was no ROC GR ......... I don't care at all but i do care who broke the ROC and those people are lost their lifes and properties.

The law specifies that Turkish Cypriot land can only be used for public projects. But Mustafa's land was subsequently sold as building plots going for between £9,000 and £13,000 a piece " though one sold for as high as £34,000 " not only to locals but also foreigners.

"Where was the public interest? Would any Greek Cypriot have accepted this; to appropriate their land for nothing?" a friend of the Turkish Cypriots told the Sunday Mail.

Tim, Markides has strongly hinted that in a number of cases, TC properties were used without expropriation. This is what makes the issue more complicated and certainly much more expensive to remedy.

That depends what you mean by 'used'; if this is 'used' in the sense of usufruct i.e. use by refugees as a temporary expedient pending a settlement, then I do not see the problem. If you mean 'used' in the sense that public works were constructed on them then this is a different matter.
