The Cypriot National Guard photo thread...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby paliometoxo » Sun Jan 24, 2010 6:20 pm

of course both sides do.. the partionists from the tc side and the enosis gcs from this side are whats keeping cyprus from having peace and living together and spreading hate.. i think both are just as bad as eachother both of them groups, they are the majority on both side and cause the problems.

Taking that into consideration we can come to the conclusion that the status quo will remain and both sides will have to come to terms with being good neighbours.

The status quo will most definitely NOT remain for trespassers in the north - whether individuals or businesses - who have assets in the EU or beyond.

Take a good look at the illuminated "TRNC" flag on the pendadaktilos range and your question will be answered...

Does watching tanks and guns give you guys a hard on or what?

Yes, its like watching the Cypriot national team play football… :D

So long as you keep watcing Cyprus National Team, I'll continue to watch the real Gunners - the only decent team around.

What? Those red and white Woolwich Wandering cockroaches? Usurpers of my north London relations' ancestral homelands? (Up the Rams by the way but I do have a soft spot for the ethnically cleansed Spurs; who share our colours)

You don't mean Footbally Cleansed Spurs. I was there couple of months ago for a day givin em a hand to rebuild their new stadium. Been a Gunner for 35 years and proud of it.

...and then my granddaughter laughed at me when Arsenal lost 3-1 today, and out of the cup.

They certainly were a different team from last week.

That doesnt change the fact that the borders will remain therefore no solution, only agitation and whatever that may bring.

considering the fact that only ROC courts seem to have jurisdiction over there that supposedly border is proving pretty leaky these days....(pun intended.)

Allowing for the loss of those families your pun is out of order but nothing will change the divide, the GCs in the south and TCs in the north, plus the GCs will never get the use of this land until or if a solution is found.

If its just property loss then they can all go to hell for all i care. Thats how much sympathy we had from them when my family was living in tents in Astromeritis.
