How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

How do you think 25% of GC voted for the Annan plan. If these meetings did not take place the figure would be a lot lower. I really do think that the GCs were fooled by their Muhtar, the GC population is ready for peace. Ignore the no hopers on this forum. Empty bottle makes more noise. When TPapa was kicked out, GC population wanted peace. Muhtar X is just lost a little bit but I am sure he will come around before Talat leaves office.

25% = No Result

That was before the last election. In the last vote, 75% voted against TPapa - they wanted peace. The anti-solutionists are running scared and trying to prevent a vote

That's right.... brain washing people not to hate. It's the latest thing. Of course, you'd need a brain first to participate.

All well and dandy. No one said people couldn't get along (in a democratic set-up), did they? Since you are into matters cranial; why don't you solve me this little conundrum:

Try telling those teenagers that the TCs are going to have FIVE TIMES more privileges than the GCs.

What is your predicted outcome?

You see, little naive Malapapa, it's not about individuals being treated equally! When it comes to the Cyprus problem; it's about the anachronistic reasons for giving one group undeserved privileges.

So, how are you going to square that in the real world of the CyProb?

My predicted outcome, given their high IQ, little nasty Oracle, is they'd say, as they said at the end of the film, "we are all human beings, we are all Cypriots." Which is why your soulmate Viewpoint is so worried they've been brainwashed.

What's your predicted outcome when your little naive nephew tells them only Greeks can be Cypriots and that there should be enosis?

How are you going to square people like him in the real world of the CyProb?
