It's been quite a challenging year in the UK I must say and one which I would like to see the back of to be honest.

It's been a bad year in business but I guess Man United winning the league is about the only good thing to happen this year. Oh, I was best man early in the year, that was good

I hope 2010 is a little easier for us over here!

A good year for us. I retired from my main employment (my thoughts are still with the men and women still serving). My wife finished with Local Government after 16 years service and joined the business full-time.
Not as many trips to Cyprus as I would have liked but my Cypriot friends have been over here for a change. We are now looking after two Cypriot girls (young women) who are attending Uni here, unfortunately they are now into boys and clubbing so next year might not be so easy.

I went along to the service at Akrotiri today A lovely service though obviously sombre to say the least
A lady stood up and read that poem 'Daddy's Day' Even though I had already read it via e-mail I was again moved to tears. :(
It is always good to remember the fallen, may they all rest in peace.
