The first mention of the term "Turk" which remains to this day, was by the Gokturks in the 6th century. A letter by the Chinese Emperor written to the Göktürk khan named Isbara in 585 describes him as "the Great Turk khan". The Orhun inscriptions from the same time use the term "Turuk".

Yet, a little is known abt the origins of Turks and even these known things r very controversial; therefore i can only recommend u to read a general overview regarding the history of the Turks and possibility of what they were doing around 1400 BC.

By 6th century AD the Greeks were celebrating their 2000nd Birthday in Cyprus. I hope you can comprehend how deep our roots are on this island even when compared to your whole history.

Being among the previous colonisers of Cyprus even if it is from the pre-historic ages, don't provide u any advanteges today. Before Greeks, there were some other aboriginal nations living in Cyprus but all of them assimilated by Greeks. Had they been powerful enough today there would have been at least 3-4 nation states in Cyprus either as seperate sovereign states or united under a federation...

TCs r powerful enough to resist against Greeks of Cyprus therefore we either will unite under a federation or have our seperate sovereign states.

How many states would be in Turkey using the same calculations? About a 1000 probably

You can't have a separate state on a territory where we are the 82% majority. Ethnic cleansing might have worked for you during the Ottoman times, but it doesn't work anymore. Sorry.

Ethnic cleansing worked for u in the beginning of the Greek colonisation but didn't work during the Ottoman Rule, under the British neither the 3 years lasted RoC era. So, it won't work anymore...

You are again imagining things. Where did you see any ethnic cleansing during the Greek Settlement in Cyprus? In your dreams?

On the other hand everybody knows that the Turks got Asia Minor by commiting multiple genocides against all other ethnic groups.

1400 BC Achaeans appear on Cyprus

After Crete was conquered by Achaean tribes, who borrowed cultural and scientific achievements of Cretans, now Cyprus was subject to a similar invasion. The population in continental Greece was growing rapidly, and the lack of fertile lands made Greeks migrate in search for better homes. Cyprus was partly populated by aboriginal nations, who are believed to belong to the same ethnic groups as Cretans ("Eteo-Cretans and Eteo-Cypriots"), partly by Phoenician merchant colonists. For a long time the island was used as an important trading post of peoples of the Mediterranean, so it was rich and prosperous enough to be a dream of aggressors.

Cypriot writing system, the famous "Cypriot Syllabary", was also taken up by Achaeans, but was not used too widely for its complicated structure. Its structure was syllabic, syllables end in a vowel, no distinction was made between voiced, voiceless and aspirated consonants. Nevertheless, on the island documents written in it existed up to the 4th century BC.

The autochthonic population of Cyprus was made slaves, which were called the same as on Crete - mnoitoi. This word probably derives from the name of Minos, a legendary king of Crete.
