Scince its a car that needs a petrol tank stuck to the boot, the colour needs changing, it does not have AC and that from the pic it looks like a left hand drive plus the plates are in arabic that means its not registerd.
and that if i want spare parts i dont think i will ever find as i will have experience with classic porches..

3k take it or leave it.

I am sorry to intervene here but 13000 Euros is an outrageous price.  Since the owner says that this is a California car, he should know that you can buy such a car in California for no more than 2000-3000 DOLLARS. (or in any other state for that matter)

I do hope that the price given here is including the registration otherwise this is a complete joke. Even then, the real value of the car should not exceed 5000 Euros on a good day. Don't believe me? I lived in the US for 10 years. I know what this car is worth.

Allow me a couple of minute please. I am the owner and i have owned several Porsches, i do definitely know about the market because, i bought the car in person and i had it used for pleasure both in LA and in Cyprus. First of all, Californian cars, any make and model, have nothing in common with other states vehicles. This is mostly for matters of rust, CA cars are well known for their rust-free status. Then, the $2,000 $3,000 price range you mantion it is referred strictly for 'restotation projects', 914's have risen in value due to a low number existing nowadays. Then and more importantly, anyone from Europe visiting California needs ( and this the least minimum prices) a return ticket for at least 1,000 EUROS, 3 weeks off his job to trace down a GOOD 914, 3 weeks of accomodation and food expenses, a minimum of $300 for a flatbed car to get it to the port, US custom fees, freight forwarding fees, $1,600 for a 20" container or $1,200 for ro/ro, clearance fees in Limassol, port authorities fees, at least 1 day for warehousing (the law), 200 EUROS fixed charge for customs to inspect the car, 200 EUROS for the FIPA certificate. The registration you also mention is also fixed at 590 EUROS for ANY classic registration. hen you only have to pay for the insurance for only 130 EUROS and also get a 60% OFF the nominal road tax for 2.0 L car. Allow me to say that this price i am sking for my little piece of pleasure is too low, the sun is always shining here and it is a great joy to drive a piece of rarity. I know my car because i have it for too much time, thanks anyway but you are utterly missing the price point, thanks.

I understand that you paid a lot of money and you put a lot of effort to bring the car here in Cyprus. HOWEVER, this was for your own enjoyment and it was your OWN choice to begin with. If I am looking to buy a car then I want to pay the real value of the car NOT your flatbed expenses or any other expenses that you had to pay because you wanted to bring the car here.

This is what a lot of people do not understand. They think that because they paid a lot of money to bring a car (any car) here in Cyprus, that they have to charge the buyer for those expenses. I am sorry but it was your own decision to pay that money and your own decision to bring the car here and enjoy it with the good weather.

Further as you may well know, cars in California cost more than other states because of the excuse that they are CA cars. Go and buy this car in Virginia, North or South Carolina and you will not pay more than 3000 dollars guaranteed. And do not talk to me about rust. I owned 2 classics from those states and not a trace of rust in any of them.

I am sorry friend but it seems that YOU are the one who is missing the point. It was YOUR decision to bring the car here. Now do NOT ask the buyer to pay for YOUR mistakes. I have spoken my mind. You are welcomed to answer but I will offer no other reply. Bottom line is 13000 Euros is waaaaaaayyyyyy overpriced. Ask for a fair price and you might get some interest in the car. Your decision. Good luck with your sale.
