No wonder you do not see Racism in Arkansas or in the "trnc".!

Jesus H. Christ! And you say that I'm selective in my observations! All you know about Arkansas probvably came from books and old movies describing the Civil War!

FYI, Racism exists in some form in all countries. Even RoCy. Otherwise there wouldn't be any stonings of TRNC cars or graffiti on walls proclaiming that the only Good Turk is a Dead Turk. You're more than a moron, Kikapu; you're a hypocrite!

I'd like to shoot the people who pulled that crap, yes. The difference is that I'd target the transgressors themselves, not just any Turk.

The difference is, racism is outlawed in all countries and they have Courts where people can obtain justice .... What has Turkey put in force to counter the institutionalised racism it, itself, carries out against the GCs in the occupied territory?

And how are those little Turks growing up in the "trnc" going to learn that racism is wrong? Saying, "Racism exists in some form in all countries" is not conducive to a good upbringing.

RAUF DENKTAS STRESSED IMPORTANCE OF BASING TALKS ON PRINCIPLES OF TWO STATES

Rauf Denktas has emphasized the importance of maintaining the basis of two states and two peoples in Cyprus when conducting negotiations with the Greek Cypriot Side.

He said that the Turkish Cypriot people and the Turkish nation had not granted President Talat the authority to abandon the TRNC’s statehood.

Speaking at a conference at the Istanbul Aydin University titled “Leadership, the most important requirement of the century”, the founding President evaluated the latest stage in the Cyprus Problem and the ongoing negotiations process.

Stating that there are two separate peoples in Cyprus, Denktas said “despite this fact, the negotiations had been launched on the basis of single citizenship, single state and single sovereignty, the way the United States of America desired it”.

Pointing out that the efforts by the Greek Cypriot Side and Greece were aimed at damaging relations between the Turks of Cyprus and Turkey, the founding President stressed that the Turks of Cyprus could not exist without motherland Turkey.

He said the TRNC people had no intention of abandoning their state and that no one had given President Talat the authority to do so.

Touching upon Turkey’s EU membership process, Rauf Denktas said that the European Union wanted Turkey to abandon Ataturk’s principles.

“Such a move would result in the disintegration of Turkey” the former President warned.
