Also TMT waits........

The President of the Cyprus TMT Society Yılmaz Bora has called on President Mehmet Ali Talat to resign over his remarks about the declaration of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Mr Bora said “if not, the President will leave the post with the will to be expressed by the electorate in the Presidential election”.

In a written statement, Mr Bora referred to President Talat’s views concerning the declaration of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus which were published in a book written by a Turkish columnist and said that there was nothing new in the comments made by the President.

He claimed that President Talat was rejecting to recognize the will expressed by the TRNC people during the April parliamentary elections.

He said “it can clearly be seen from the approach he adopted at the negotiations towards eliminating the TRNC and realizing a united Cyprus”.

The Cyprus Turkish National Existence Council has called on President Mehmet Ali Talat to resign over his remarks about the declation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

In a statement on behalf of the Council, Kamil Özkaloğlu expressed the view that a man, who does not believe in the independence, freedom and sovereignty of his own state, should not be holding the Presidency post.
He noted that the Turks of Cyprus gained the joy of freedom, sovereignty and life security as a result of the declaration of the TRNC.

It seems to be the Cypriot way. It's the oldest trick in the book after prostitution. Makarios also did it in 1960.

Didnt papashitpolplous do the same so that GCs would not vote for the AP version 5 to which they themselves contributed.

VP, you have to give him some credit for acting. He pretended to cry to mobilise no for a plan he negotiated. That bit of acting has never been equalled by anybody never mind on this earth not even in all universes put together.

Well why ask him to reign ..... if the Turks of the 'trnc" want him out they will vote him out in the coming elections. Placing them back to square one and where they have been for the last 35 years lol.

Talat has dented that little argument. When Talat loses the next election, everyone will blame the GCs and their intransigence. God help us all after that.

Several months ago, Talat stated that if until the end of his term in office he couldn't manage to find a solution to Cyprus problem he saw no point to become a candidate for presidency one more term.

So far what they agreed upon were the things two sides had already agreed upon before Talat-Chris talks started.

Really what's the point of meeting and talking for times and times again and in the end running around the same circle times and times again and going nowhere?

Greek-GC duo strongly desire and expect due course of time, TC-Turkish duo will surrender to the solution thesis of Greek-GC duo.

R TC-Turkish side aware of this? Yes.

What we gonna do against sneaky Hellenic Plan? We gonna have the Hellenic "bomb" blast in hands of Greek-GC duo!

Well, if they don't like what the media says, then they don't have to listen to it.
