Tooth pain

Postby umit07 » Sun Nov 01, 2009 3:32 pm

One of my teeth is needs a filling and is giving me a lot pain. I haven't eaten much for the past two days it hurts soo much. It seems to worsen when I go to bed. The doctors not being open on Saturday and Sunday I haven't seen one yet. I've been given "Nurophen plus" from the chemist but it doesn't seem to have a big effect, I'm also applying a cream called sm33 it has helped a bit. I've washed my mouth with salt water and listerine, brushing my teeth make the pain even worse. I haven't slept properly in two days and to top it all up I've got an exam tomorrow. What can I do until tomorrow, if I can't sleep tonight I'll probably have to take a make up. Even opening my mouth to talk makes it hurt more.

I thought of that but I've taken 10 pain killer tablets in the past 24 hours, I am wary that it might have complications. I would think the chances are slim but then again.

Wash your mouth out with whisky. Should numb the pain for a short while.

I can feel it the pain like an current from my jaw to running upwards. I'm going to try to sleep now, in the morning I'll call the dental hospital and try to get them to slip me in somewhere. Dentists are frekin expensive over here ( a friend was charged $800 (500 quid) for 3 fillings. ), ow shit as if it's not enough another thing to worry about.

Did it with listerine, works for about 20 mins. Someone told me to suck on a panadol, I thought it was bullshit but I think it actually had an effect.
