Did it with listerine, works for about 20 mins. Someone told me to suck on a panadol, I thought it was bullshit but I think it actually had an effect.

Try and get some sleep. Hope you get it sorted in the morning. Take care.

Dude, you most probably have an abscess.
You need a course of antibiotics and proper tooth painkillers. But the problem is you can't get them without a prescription obviously.
Have you noticed any bumps around the the gum area near the affected tooth?

Definitely sounds like an abscess!

Clove oil with painkillers is your only hope...

Make sure you go to the dentist tomorrow or it'll only get worse....

Maybe they've been following Deniz's advice and kissing to exchange saliva in preparation for having a baby! :D

I feel for you mate, there is no pain like toothache. Are you near a hospital ? they should be able to provide you with a drug cocktail that will kill the pain for a few hours.

I'm gonna wait till 8.30 then cal the Dental Hospital, they usually have long waiting list but I'll have to squirm my way through. If not I'll go to my local GP and get him to do something about it.
