go on interparcel.com...very good prices, you have to put the weight and measurements in and they give you the best price and even come to you to collect it.
there is a strike with royal mail in the uk right now so aare better off doing this with interparcle.com

Wrong. Postmen in Cyprus do not deliver the parcels at all. They deliver a little slip telling you that you have a parcel and instructing you to come and collect it from your local post office.

I have bought quite a few items via e-Bay in the five years that I have been in Cyprus. Everything has been delivered to me by mail and nothing has ever gone missing.

ok ok deep breath sorry to upset you, letters then!

i also buy off e-bay and have for 3 years. they hardly deliver the slips and throw the parcels that are glass over the gate onto the concrete ground. many parcels of mine have gone missing and when i have enquired everyone is clueless as to what i'm talking about, parcels delivered by the post office,, no you must be wrong, this si the sort of service you get..

Let's face it 99% of mail gets through no problem. As for Paphos I send to the Mesogi Ind Est 17 parcels a week all fragile and all arrive no problem.
I suggest you try the service and if you have problems look at couriers.

Just don't ever send anything to baby come fly with me as when she receives the item she will say she hasn't received it and ask for a refund. Her words not mine.

You should lay off the forum altogether as no one is interested in your stupid fabrications.

I'd like to say something about post to northern Cyprus - but there is nothing to say.

In the last three years I have sent two parcels, three sets of legal documents and two cheques (Premium Bonds to winning relatives).

NONE reached their destination. The Premium Bonds people were marvellous. They noticed that the cheques were not presented to any bank and re-issued them. The last cheque was delivered by courier.

The other items were lost, even thought they were registered.

Mersin - 10 postal service = non existent (as far as I am concerned.

you can still get the mail even if you write the address out as just "Cyprus", you don't have to use "mersin 10" the GC post just hands it over to the Tc post. My grandma would get bank letters from the UK that were address as "mersin 10 Cyprus" she would always get the mail. The GC post would neatly cut the plastic sheet over the address window and erase the "mersin 10" with a black marker.

Thanks for the belated advice. I do not intend to take anymore chances Umit. It cost me a lot. Believe it or not, some of the docs were duplicated and sent via the RoC. As you said, they were received.

I hope your tooth is not making your life miserable.
