My Microwave and Me - CY Coffee

Postby bill cobbett » Fri Oct 30, 2009 4:46 pm

After a couple of unsuccessful attempts, which involved cleaning up my beloved microwave, before Mrs C saw the mess, am able to bring you all great news....

CY Coffee - a microwaved approach ....

To make one cup ...

Take a largish mug (not those small traditional cups).
Put in the usual small amount of water and coffee and sugar to taste.
Stir really, really well.
Put in microwave.
Now the tricky bit; after a couple of messes, found one minute on medium power did the trick, perfect result with good amount of foam (kaimaki?) on top.

So abandon your hot sand pits, your brickies or your jeesvess and help bring CY culture in to the 21st Century.

And I thought you were one of the reasonably sane ones on here!
