Gemany invaded Czechoslovakia on the pretext to protect the ethnic German minority, which is the same reason used by Turkey to justify it's invasion of the Republic of Cyprus.

This is where the similarity with the Cyprus problem ends.

After WWII the Czechs expelled the ethic Germans back to their motherland.

Hypothetically, if in future the ethnic Turks are expelled back to their motherland Turkey (of course the likelyhood of this happening is zero - purely hypothetical) and Turkey joins the EU, this exemption will protect the RoC from TCs wanting to return and claiming their property rights.

Mr Ed, I would get your Virtual Digital Stuttering seen to by a real medical personage.

You misunderstood, I wasn't concerned. Just mildly mocking.

Dear Fred,

I would like to propose you as chief legal advisor to the TRNC. That way you are likely to lose even more cases in the European courts and Turkey have to pay out even more compensation.

Have you got any legal training? If not, I propose fast-tracking YFred through law school so he can take up his duties as soon as possible.

No, No, No, No and even a bigger NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO.
Talat will take good care of you boys, he has game plan, you just haven't worked out what it is yet.

All I have been hearing is EU say this and EU says that, but it seems EU will say what ever we wish.
Make your wish boys, but don't forget to put the coin under the pillow.

Talat has a game plan? I thought he was just a clueless clown. You mean all that ridiculous posturing is part of a strategy? He's not a marionette dancing to the tune of his Turkish puppet-masters?

I'd never have guessed. Well I hope it's a good plan. Because at this rate Talat will be out of a job next Spring and the "TRNC" will have an even bigger idiot as "President".
