A possible explanation for the incident (which would not occur to those who are in favour of the objectives of Western powers) could be:-
That those who oppose Western interference, find it objectionable and hypocritical of the West, to offer 'Aid' to those that they are forcing deprivation upon (due to their actions) in the first place.
It may well be, that the action of the 'Suicide Bomber' was meant as a warning to any others that may be contemplating embracing the Western hypocrisy (by accepting 'Aid') since (a) The price of the 'Aid' may be far too high and (b) acceptance might be seen as capitulation.
Make no mistake, there are people on this earth who STILL have the capacity to recognize duplicity and chicanery, even though it may take the form of 'Aid' to the needy.
Providing the 'Victim' is unaware of who the 'Attacker' is, then it is a simple matter for the 'Attacker' to administer to the wounds of the 'Victim' and thus secure the allegiance of a grateful friend.
The actual 'Suicide Attack' was an awful event BUT, no less awful than the actions which preceded and indeed encouraged them in the first instance. (IMHO)
