It is generally considered the height of bad manners to purposely mispronounce another's name (or in this case 'Nom de Plume' ) so it comes as no surprise that you persist in doing so.

I can only advise you that you do yourself no justice in resorting to such childish manoeuvres, it besmirches your own character and emphasizes the ignorance you have already demonstrated severally in the years past.

An Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for adultery now faces being whipped for indecency, her son says.

Iranian authorities sentenced Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani to 99 lashes after the Times newspaper published a picture purportedly of her without a headscarf.

The Times later published a correction, saying the photograph was of a different Iranian woman.

Day of mourning for Russian car bomb victims
