Almost certainly not planes from Lanate (sic) or Malpensa Airport but high-flying planes which are passing over N Italy: the main Chemical in the visible part of the Chem trail has been identified: it a substance called di-hydrogen oxide......
T.......his of course is a natural product of burning aviation spirits in a cold environment as one gets at say 11000 meters, which is probably the hight of these particular planes.
I suspect that at that level it was pretty windless on that day, hence the slow dispersal
It is however know reasonably well researched that these vapour trails do have a direct effect on the Climate causing some surface cooling.
