Morning all! No funnies from me this morning Deniz - I am lost in the rivetting world of VPN connection glitches!

Halil I prefer to think of it in terms of 'see - made it through another week!' rather than another week gone from my life!

Thunder and lightning rumbling and flashing about during the night, cloudy and cooler this morning (but wouldn't say it was cold) alas, still none of the wet stuff tho' hailstones were apparently forecast (maybe they got them somewhere else).

Boy we've had some thunderstorm here! And the much needed heavy rain at last. Objects are floating down to the sea outside.

It knocked out my Sat TV and I was about to say it has abated now apart from the rain but just seen the lightning start up again over the Salt Lake.

Spectacular storm. So much lightning it was like daylight outside.

After all that rain the sun shines. Brilliant.
More rain forecast for the next ten days or so - don't forget your brollies folks.

Morning all. The sea looks like mud for about half a km out and waves crashing in up to the building walls along the old waterfront today - very windy. Roads still running like streams.

And they say Pafos got the worst of it! Geez hate to think what it was like there then - we got a month's rainfall in an hour apparently? And an unprecedented drop in barometric pressure from about 1020 hPa to 990 hPa.

yes we did, it was raining so badly that the turkish side accused us of making it rain in the north and flooding them. the roads where like a swimming pool of water, the priests had been praying for rain and we got it lol

Good morning ALL. A warm 1 deg C. and looking forward to an even warmer 5 dec C. At least its dry. I ope those of you in Cyprus have your brollys at hand (as suggested by B)

first day of the week. its a bit cold .... at last winter showed her face. how nice to feel smell of the wet ground. Trees are shinging .........soon wild mushrooms will come out....... i will be happy when i pick them....who cares about problems any more.....Life is to short.we must enjoy every part of it.

Good morning Halil Bey. As you say 'life is too short'. Will I ever be lucky enough to see a 'shinging' tree. You dont know how lucky you are.
