The snow has kept her busy, her best friend "Henry" the cat was put down on Monday. He was 20 years old with kidney failure, she keeps looking for him indoors. I sometimes wonder if keeping pets is worth the pain of losing them.

I will post some more snow scenes later, loads of icicles hanging off the gutters. They say it will thaw tomorrow but today the road looks very icy.

Thanks for reminding me of my trip to work yesterday. Only nice to watch from the side of a fireplace (at our age that is).

I have my camera ready for taking pics of my tits (in my garden) I amsure they are larger than yours), but they seek to have disappeared. Robins and a Mrs Blackbird is feeding right now.

I do too. I suspect most animal lovers feel the same.

I love the piccies of your dog in the snow! When I lived in the UK my GSD used to try to singlehandedly clear the immediate area with her snout - shovelling it up into the air and catching it on the way down and eating it!

The cats were the most amusing to watch. They had this 'high stepping gait' when walking thro' it!

Wasn't sure what a GSD was (giant snow dog?) but google told me it's a German Shepherd. They say replacing a lost pet with a new one is the best cure Henry was the last of our four cats and we won't take on another because we are so close to the road, besides I'm not sure how madam Ruby would take to another cat. I suppose there's a clue in the fact that the dog loves the snow in her breed - labrador.
