Man asked: God, why did you make women so beautiful?
God replied: So that you might fall in love.
Man asked: OK. But why are they so stupid sometimes?
God replied: So that they might be able to fall in love with you...

Buongiorno amici ! :D

A lady goes to the family doctor with black eyes and
body full of bruises.
While she talk to him admits that the injuries were caused by her husband.
< But, I thought that your husband was on holiday. >
And she said: Ehh ... I was thinking too…!

Cheers, hic!

I love mulled wine, esp the ones I used to make. I had it the first time in Praha/CZ and I slept for 16 hours. The sweetest sleep I have ever had. I did not drive a car in Chechoslovakia (as it was known then)

Traditionally they used to plunge a red hot poker into the wine to warm it. Our local pub has a mulled wine dispenser on the bar, I had four glasses one night but it had no effect, I reckon they add loads of spices and then water it down to boost profits.

Some mulled wines are likely to be virtually non-alcoholic, particularly if boiled, as the heating process can cause boiling off of the alcohol: I think the Alcohol boils at about 90 C.

Now if one was to put some sort of a collection system over the top of the wine, carefully control the heating, to about 90C then condense the evaporated fluids.....

Reinforce Deniz, that's the spirit  . I assume it's the chemist's term for adding ethanol. Boozers call it fortifying.

Are you snowed in yet?

I worked late last night and had decided to stay home anyway. I knew the forecast. They are gritting our roads just now. After an incident last year, I refuse to take anymore chances.

Weather update indicates that Thursday evening the temps will fall to - 5 deg C. The snow is melting now, that means if they do not do a few more rounds of gritting, Friday also will be a day off. The weekend is a promised warm (comparative) time ; as high as +2 deg C. Isnt that marvellous.lol.

Admin might have a better answer but it might be because:
