A very dry year after the unprecedented rain last winter. No birds at the salt lake.

I mentioned to my daugher yesterday that it was so much cooler very early in the morning that I've put my coat on to take the dog out.

She told me not to rub it in and said 'you need a coat on in bed here at the moment' lol!

Morning fig! Hope the coming weekend is a good one for you. It will be a good one for me - not only beloved family arriving tomorrow afternoon, but I'm getting a new laptop too!

Just returned from my morning walk with the dog. Watched the sun rise to the tune of the bugler in the army camp. Lovely.

Just for you - sunrise over the waterfront, old town, Makenzy. I took this from the water's edge, but am lucky enough to see the sun rise and set without going out. South facing verandah.

I'll try to find some sunsets later - but have shifted my piccies in readiness for the new lappy. Have most of them in online web albums anyway.

Old Turkish Town waterfront, looking towards Finicoudes, just before sunrise and before all the cars get double parked down there! Lovely.
