Morning all! Well it will be morning in an hour or so.

more long convos with Cyta today. Determined to sort my problems bless them. My biggest prob of course is they keep dropping my connection while they are 'doing lots of work' to improve the service! They are promising me great things lol! They reckon now someone is using my wireless ??

Got me to do 4 speedtests in quick succession they ranged wildly from 1.9 to 0.4 all over the bluddy place!

I asked them how that could be as in Cyp you need the serial no. off the back of the modem. She said very solemnly they have clever bits of software now lol! Anyway all name and pwords changed to rule out that. Gawd.

Where's that Palio techno man? Coz I'm looking at Sony laptops now.

if you think that people are using your wireless then you should login to the hubs admin page and put the security at a higher level that wont be so easy to crack with these apps. i have no password set up on mine and no one touches it LOL thats the good thing about being in a village. no one cares about the internet. and the people that do have their own connection.

actually my uncle comes and uses it but i dont care about that..

but back on topic... on the side of the hub should be a ip and username and password. you log in to there and then under wifi security chose something with more encryption something they wont crack very easily..

what sony are you looking to buy? i have converted to macs now lol so i will always buy an imac or macbook pro now..

Can't have a mac palio need to match up with what I use in the UK for work.

Yes Cyta talked me thro how to do it with securing it etc. on the phone.

Not sure which Sony now as by the time he asked me whether I was 'bothered about blue ray' I glazed over and I've told my son to choose for me.

But I did choose the colour = don't want a WHITE one lol!
