What's bbci?

The price is for the phone connection as well - it is a three part bill - phone, internet and service (whatever that is). I'll get the breakdown for you tomorrow or soon thereafter.

I wouldn't need a landline if I had cable but there is another problem. The developer here won't give them permission to cable the block.

I'm sort of thinking better the devil you know where Cyta is concerned!

Not sure what you mean by do I use a proxy? I use a VPN to connect remotely to servers and to work on my computer in the UK. Just puts that computer on top of this one! Same spec is best as probs can arise when cutting and pasting from one to the other etc. Also gets you confused!

I couldn't manage with two small a screen as some of the stuff I work on is quite 'busy' and difficult enough to see as it is.

I think 15 would do OK though. When I got this widescreen I thought I might watch DVDs on it in the bedroom or summat. But never have!

I agree that a 17 is stretching it a bit to consider it 'portable'. Damn heavy and very bulky when in the lappy bag. Especially if you have to put it in your hand luggage!

Working part time as an ambassador for the Uni - goes out to Colleges trying to encourage students to take Science degrees and gets paid quite well to do that - she won the award for the best new ambassador earlier this year! She is supposed to be living proof you don't have to be a nerd to do a science degree lol! She also mentors students on the internet and is a volunteer helper in a school for scoundrels (well that's what I call it). She will miss the long holidays when she does eventually 'get a job'. She's had the travel bug (like her mum) most of her life.

I'd have done the piccies right away but have been moving all my thousands of images off this laptop ready for my new one coming soon!

I'm supposed to be deciding which new laptop to have before my son brings it over for me in 2 weeks. I don't have a CLUE! Can't have a Mac tho - not compatible with the work I do.

Hi there 0- saw the comments about NZ: one of my boys was studying in Luton, cost about GBP 10-12 K per year - now he is in NZ - the tuition fees alone are about GBP 10K /year.....

Morning support. I am not O! This was about 4 yrs ago. She either got her sums wrong, or things have changed! Is your lad enjoying it in NZ?

Thanks for the correction BCCC flattered you bothered to read what I was saying to Palio. I must try harder.

Busy day for me today. Working on the sabbath.

Is it the BBCi Player that you are referring to perhaps?
