I was wondering what it would be like to be the last one to be lifted out, left there on your own - but the excellent Al Jazeera lady reporter has just told us that there are 3 or 4 rescue workers down there and they will come up last.

Oh ... and a very early 'good morning' to you!

A;; done and dusted now. Listened to the el Presidente's speech and goodmorning to you.

Why have you rattled Oracles feathers so early, when your never even posted in a thread?

Well Den - they say when you are 'infatuated' with someone - you cannot get them off your mind lol! You think about them night and day!

Yes I stopped watching after the President's speech. They will hash it over forever now I s'pose and then start digging the dirt on everyone.

Didn't actually go to bed last night. Did a bit of work while watching the rescue. Walked muttley afterwards and then headed over to Arradipou to exchange something I bought (but forgot to blerdy take it with me lol!)

Tried to buy some pet supplies but few shops here seem to open by 9am (except my life saving Cyp mini supermarket that is open at 5.30am and Danny's kiosk at the end of my road - Canadian Cyps - open 'til 11pm 365 days a year) so back home now go again tomorrow.

It's a lovely hot day and I think, when I've had my coffee, I will take a trip to Cessac beach - eat and soak up the sun before returning to the grindstone.
My Iranian/Scottish visitors have gone and they left me LOADS of goody pressies yay!

You better watch out for this 'sleepdeprivation'. See what it does to you?

An early Hogmanny for you then?

My granddaughter has picked up the 'YAY!!' Bless her.

No early Hogmanay for me - saving it all up for when my understudy arrives in 8 weeks' time. Lots of work to do before then as I am planning to take a nice long break and get out and about around the island with her before she returns in mid Jan.
