Ahhhaaa!!!

Hello and goodbye. 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Whatever happened to you. That was a lightning visit from you Summer'!!!

Oh Hiya CF'rs. Just reflecting on the hot summer day we had yesterday. On the way home (4.30pm) the car tempereature was 34 deg C. Thank god for A/C.

Today it is 'freezing' in comparison. 14 deg C. No wonder our biological clocks are up the creek.

My loquat tree still suffering. Half of it is definitely dead. Is it the bad winter we had or a virus. No one knows. The other half is showing signs of survival. Still got fruit on the tree. Let us pray!!! Perhaps it is showing its displeasure at us moving in the very near future. Oh loquat tree, why are you so sensitive; I was going to uproot you and take you with me; mind you I have a few saplings I will take to my new house.

Good morning everyone. Time for my coffee, me thinks.

Morning. Loquat tree? Nice. Isn't that the 'cough mixture' tree?

I cant argue about that as I dont know. Perhaps our Oracle might have dug something up on the subject. I know carobs are used for medicinal purposes, but not heard of loquat. I will seek out some info.

Phew! That's a relief - don't want to drag old miserguts in here to deliver another of her incomprehensible boring lectures. She'll probably have found some proof that it is a component ingredient of the tubular liquorice allsort variety and VERY BAD for you!

It looks like a lovely tree - you say you were thinking of transplanting it - how big is it?

I've just read a bit about them that says their size does not affect the size of the fruit. Nice.
