Debate about rotating presidency and weighted votes.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bananiot, I don't see your problem, you wine and dine with the enemy quite freely now, so whats your beef? Just because the people with some self respect left do not choose to do the same you class them as rejectionists and bigots.

As piratis has quite rightly put it, we will not accept to be slaves just to suit a handful of traitors. If you wish to be with these people why don't you just go over there and let the TRNC authorities pay your wages.

You have a cheek to take a salary from the hard working decent GC taxpayer and then label them as you do.
Perhaps some of the parents who have lost everything should be aware of the treacherous individual left alone with their kids! How would they feel about it???

I also wonder if your bosses and indeed the Ministry of Education knew of your writings and your colusions with the otherside, hopefully they will show you the door.

And then as they say in Greek; Tha trois pou ton kolon to shillou.

I cannot think of harsh enough words that I would like to say to you, i would just finish it with I hate you, and wish always the worst for you. You should be ashamed.

Assikdir Bambo.

...good at least to see that the masses, those who will vote, see.

when a reform becomes apparent, at first it is wailed. extreme
forces seize these agendas, but in their plunder expose themselves
to universal customs which to now have outlasted their greed.

i for one believe that we can demonstrate our unity beyond a device
like the rotating Presidency. This method is not a preparation for
the changing demographics which will naturally occur given: global
warming, oceanic acidification, peace in the Middle East, and an end
to the famine in Africa. (let's not forget that in this Modern day and Age
as workers we are perfectly mobile, as Individuals and as members of the EU)

the population of Cyprus is 12 million, in two hundred years. in fifty years
even with the prospect of resisting change, this distortion will appear.

...as for democracy,
each of us must vote exactly the same way for the same purpose(s).
if we wish to sustain ourselves as Persons, what is wrong with National Assemblies
but as Individuals there is a measure Universal, demonstrated and defended

...please read my manifesto.

Translation:

Cultivation of culture of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and cooperation between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots in order to get rid of occupation and reunite our country and our people.

And, Halil and my other dear Turkish Cypriot friends are not my enemy. My enemy has always been people like you B25. Do not forget this!

Don't you worry, I won't.

Clearly the enemies of Bananiot are those who refuse to give up democracy, freedom and human rights because our insistence on these universally accepted principles hurts the interests of his friends who want to make the whole Cyprus a Turkish colony again, with their small minority enjoying Ottoman Style privileges on the expense of every other Cypriot.

How am I going to prove that money secretly moves from Ankara and London to the Swiss account of some traitor?

History shows tons of examples where the Imperialists have funded everybody from journalists to politicians and even whole "revolts" in order to get what they want in other countries. You think that in Cyprus, they would do nothing to promote their interests?

It is well known that the AngloAmericans and the Turks favor a partition "solution" of the kind of Annan plan. Do you really think they would do nothing to promote this result? Paying journalists is the least they can do. I would be amazed if several politicians do not receive their monthly deposits as well.

Now of course you can say that this specific journalist is not a traitor but just a fool. I will leave that possibility open, although I doubt it.
