Still, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that between 1963 and 1964, while the records were under GC control, that they were discretely altered. Now, that is just speculation on my part, but given the prevailing attitudes of that time, such a thing is not improbable.
On a personal note, Sotos: you accuse me of being very close-minded and insensitive to your view. If you can show me some independent sources (and I mean totally apolitical sources at that) which can show me to be wrong to support the Turkish Cypriots and you to be right, please let me know.
It is not that it is not improbable it is certain that they destroyed evidence of TC land documentation. Given that they put TCs through people through mincing machines would they really not destroy land registry documentation?
