1958 was before the RoC was set up. It was in the middle of eoka activity and killing of TCs and GCs. People feared for their lives and moved on to more secure environment. Did eoka and their activities in the late 50s and early 60s have nothing to do with that. Have you just heard of the existence of such activities from both sides. Where the hell have you been old chap, Mars or Uranus. All of that was forgiven with the setting up of the RoC. The Criminals are those who set out to destory the RoC including no less the President and his cronies. What happened in 63 was well planned and executed, just could not achieve the result that the GC government was hoping for, and thank god for that.
We all now about the eoka activities. They have been discussed numerous times on this forum old boy.
I'm just saying that it is the first time for me to hear a TC admit that they were ethnical cleansing GC's at any time (before 60....during the 60's and in 74) even in Lurucina. So again....It takes balls to admit that and I appreciate you for it.
