Greece has plans to hosts Euro 2012.

very good!!i hope greece wins!!!
i also saw that hungary is a candidate,i laughed so much!!!!they have only one proper stadium,all the rest are in miserable(i am being polite) condition. maybe croatia has more and better stadiums.
anyway you can all visit www.worldstadiums.com and check all the current existing stadiums and all the ones that are being planned!!!its an excellent site!!!

is the Turkish economy really growing?...didnt they just invent new money which took away six naughts from each Lira or something like that.

The plus point for Greece is that it has a couple of new stadiums and since the Olympics, the world has seen that a major sports event could be hosted successfully in Greece.

I dont know though? Did portugal have a growing economy when it was given the last Euro's?

Seems clever but actually lacks intelligence!, was their any growing canditate against Portugal? But you are right that Greece's chance comes from its sucessful olympics organisation but also latest championship.
