You have obviously not been keeping up with the news. There is a process based on dossiers and the energy dossier has been blocked. One dossier blocked, the process as a whole is blocked. And more are on schdule for more blockages by various EU nations. Just watch the Poles and how they react to Turkish farmers getting subsidies!

Here is another EU ignorant.Process is not blocked. New chapters are being opened during each presidency, that was even the case during French presidency. Believe me our ports will not be opened to south cypriot ships and our dear Swedish friends will open another 2 chapters. 8)

runaway ... I thought you said Turkey did not need the EU?

You seem awfully desperate to persuade us that Turkey should be "considered" ...

persuade "us"? All of a sudden you are European? No lady you are a donkey breeder middle eastern murderer bitch. Last thing I want is to persuade a southern cypriot.

Having talked about donkeys, a golden saying dedicated to you:

Eşeğe altın semer vursan da eşek yine eşektir.

eşek: old ugly murderer south cypriot lady
altın semer: EU

For Runway who said:

"Here is another EU ignorant.Process is not blocked."

From the EU legislation site:

"The Council decides unanimously on the benchmarks or opening of a chapter on the basis of the Commission's recommendations."

Runaway, please interpret for us the word UNANIMOUSLY so we can see how your pezevengi friend can by himself open two new chapters.

Also refer to yestarday's BBC news re Turkey's accessions difficulties with the role of the army in politics and the Turkish PR blitz with the Kurdish fighters shown on TV, to show the "new face" of Turkey. Things must be getting a little desperate.
