JUMPSTART THE PEACE IN CYPRUS

A new fresh Youth Peace Campaign is being launched on the island of Cyprus. The campaign is run by two non governmental organizations, Youth Center Union (Turkish Cypriots) and Future Worlds Center (Greek Cypriots) and supported by the European Union.
The Youth Peace and reconciliation campaign “Jumpstart the Peace” will engage youth from both the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities. The main objectives of the campaign include: (a) to “jumpstart” and re-invigorate the peace process; (b) transcend the current trend of apathy and pessimistic mood to an optimistic and creative attitude that will empower and encourage Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot youth to take positive action; (c) create spaces which support positive and constructive dialogue between the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots; (d) facilitate youth to envision and implement new youth projects LED by a network of youth leaders from both communities who will serve as agents of change. The youth will be invited to join in capacity building trainings such as Campaigning and PR work, Intercultural learning and Conflict resolution.
The campaign will conduct a variety of activities aimed at youth starting with a peace boat that will circle the island and conduct enjoyable and interactive events on the beautiful beaches of the island. The activities will include a diversity of events such as music concerts, graffiti competitions, DJ Peace Party’s, Living libraries, street theater, Peace Art etc.
Come and join other youth and lead Cyprus to a new future where the youth make a difference and shape the future of the island.
It will be at LOKMACI and LEDRA STREET

i will try to come Bananiot , as u know we work upto five now.
his name is Mülayim ...... i have to introduce my other simpetheros as well.
they are from one of the villages of Limassol and now he lives at Christofias village called Dikhomo .

I know Mulayim, he lived in Lurucina upto 74. Halil give him my regards.
