The peace agreement will deal with the property issue. One thing you can be sure of is that not all TC or GC will be able to return to their property for various reasons. Hence, there will be some who will accept compensation instead. One is part of the peace agreement the Troops will go after the peace agreement. Not all the troops will go, as It is their legal right not to go. If you wish to negotiate the complete removal of all the Turkish troops, then you need to talk to my mate Eddy Turk.
I would have thought it is blatantly obvious that not all will return to their properties. If you expect it, then you will be disappointed.

The property issue has been dealt with by the ECJ, earlier this year, and by other Courts at other times, all confirming that property was, is, and always will be, with the pre-74 proper owners.

The Cyprus problem is NOT about the two communities "getting on". It is the illegal occupation of 37% of the RoC by a foreign country.
Through the so-called intercommunal talks, events etc, all the RoC is doing is providing an alibi to Turkey which is presented as an innocent third party to the whole issue.

Can you believe this joker!!!1974 changed the dynamics in Cyprus forever, do you think TCs and GCs can return to properties which have been demolished or where new buildings have been erected...or to villages they dont even know??? compensation will be the only option in many cases..in those where it is physically possible then by all means but we have to all be realistic and understand that things will never ever be as they were.

I am pretty sure that any international court or reasonable person will think YOU are the joker if you are suggesting that just because you brutally forced people out of their properties and then built something on it, they lose ownership and are forced to accept compensation for it.
