Sounds good

Shall we look forward to a joint statement from GCs and TCs calling for all foreign troops to immediately leave Cyprus and in support of full human rights for all Cypriots?

We must always run before we can walk. Sign the peace agreement and then see them go.
Very straight forward really, even a child could put this package together.

So once again, once we sign the peace accord as you say ALL foreign troops will go and ALL Cypriot property will be returned to their owners?

You are mixing them again.

The peace agreement will deal with the property issue. One thing you can be sure of is that not all TC or GC will be able to return to their property for various reasons. Hence, there will be some who will accept compensation instead. One is part of the peace agreement the Troops will go after the peace agreement. Not all the troops will go, as It is their legal right not to go. If you wish to negotiate the complete removal of all the Turkish troops, then you need to talk to my mate Eddy Turk.

I would have thought it is blatantly obvious that not all will return to their properties. If you expect it, then you will be disappointed.

The above posts go to show that those idiots in the RoC (both individuals and politicians) that support the entire "re-approachment of the communities" idea serve ONLY the Turkish interests.

The Cyprus problem is NOT about the two communities "getting on". It is the illegal occupation of 37% of the RoC by a foreign country.

Through the so-called intercommunal talks, events etc, all the RoC is doing is providing an alibi to Turkey which is presented as an innocent third party to the whole issue.

One thing YOU can be sure of is that you will not be able to take LEGAL ownership of any individual's property without their personal consent to accepting compensation.

Not all the troops will go, as It is their legal right not to go.

Funny how you remember ONLY those "legal rights" and those (few) provisions of the 1960 agreements that suit you.

The 1960 agreements are for a unitary state with a GC President etc etc. Are you suggesting this should be the case post-solution because this was the case then?

If you wish to negotiate the complete removal of all the Turkish troops, then you need to talk to my mate Eddy Turk

Eddy is the party we are negotiating with. Tally cannot even go to the toilet without Eddy saying so.
