12,000 people murdered by GC between 55-74...aparently.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

thats a distorted analogy.

EOKA was pushing to rid Cyprus of its foreign rule and join Cyprus with the other Greek speaking islands to unite with Greece. This was WHILE we were under rule of the British Empire.

EOKA B had different leaders (the dictatorship of Greece) and a different ideology of how to unite Cyprus with Greece. The original EOKA did not kill innocent Turkish Cypriots. Turkish Cypriot policemen working for the British were no way innocent.

Again, I'll use the word convenient...because when it comes to the issue's of EOKA...it's convenient for you to link them all as one and become blind to the issues at hand. When it comes to TC giving out false propaganda around north London...your not so judgemental and will come out with various different theories to what such statements could mean.

I partly agree that EOKA A and B are not same. They were actually same in their ideals(ENOSIS) but differ in how to do it. Even after 1974, Makarios was sympathetic to Enosis, for example.

Even in our history books, it is said that EOKA A and B are not exacly same. The difference is how to reach Enosis by a coup or siga siga. Even AKEL was a fun of Enosis before 74, whatever the way they justify it.

If Makarios's way was followed , it would be very probable to accomplish it to be honest.
