how to make Cypriot coffee?..
ive got an idea but not sure its the rite way .
get coffee mix it with water then heat it slowely then add suger to it..!!

IT DOESNT WORK!!!

i go to this little cypriot cafe that makes a beautiful heavy thick strong tasty coffee! the guy asks me how do you like it i always say i like it medium (not bitter not sweet)
.. i would love to learn how to make it my self but it always taste worse than instant coffee you get out of coffee machine !!!!..

Does anyone knows how to make a proper cup of Cypriot caffee!?

Get your small coffee pot (for one cup).

Fill up to the neck with cold water..

Add one heap of Ground Cypriot coffee and stir

Add sugar to taste.

Bring to the boil gently, stirring occasionally.

You will see the froth rising from the sides and moving towards the centre. Remove pot from the heat source. You can repeat this three times (but NO MORE)

Never boil the coffee.

Now gently pour into small coffee cup and serve with a glass of water.

Sahha/Afiyetler olsun.

...add an open cardamom pod to the pot - for extra aroma. But then it will be a different coffee. More bedewi coffee. :lol:

Do not drink the telwe/residue at the bottom of your cup. :wink:

im going to get my self in a psychic mood and read the bloody thing.. put it upside down for a bit and read the shapes inside
