How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

OIC’S CULTURE MINISTERS’ MEETING IN AZERBAIJAN

Postby halil » Thu Oct 15, 2009 1:33 pm

The TRNC Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture Hamza Ersan Saner is in Azerbaijan to attend the Culture Ministers’ Meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, under an observer status.
This is the first time a TRNC authority attends this kind of ministerial meeting of the OIC.

Minister Saner delivered a speech on the Cyprus issue at the meeting, which ends tomorrow.

Reminding that the Cyprus negotiations are being maintained under the UN parameters, Minister Hamza Ersan Saner underlined the need for putting more pressure on the Greek Cypriot Side in order to ease the lifting of the international isolation on the Turks of Cyprus.
He said education can be used as a tool to help overcoming the isolations.

He added that the arrival of more Muslim students in the TRNC will also make contributions to the improvement of cultural relations.
In addition to the OIC meetings, Hamza Ersan Saner’s agenda also includes some bilateral meetings.

The Minister will also attend the meeting of the Permanent Council of the Turkish Culture and Arts Joint Administration (TURKSOY).
He will return to the North Cyprus on Sunday.

... and Halil have already stated, why... A TRNC under isolations is better than their life conditions in their regions... However, for many TCs a TRNC under isolations was not better than emigrating to somewhere else. Hope u got it GR.
