I do know you cant bring dogs north to south or vice versa to take part in dog shows so i guess you cant do it for a holiday or trip either!

I know that regulation but still,since he holds a EU pet passport issued by ROC,i will challenge the authorities for the fun of it..
If all fails there are other ways of taking him there and back

Honestly, I don't understand the fascination with all those toilet brush dogs.

I am even more befuddled with people that are so F selfish that they would allow other perfectly good dogs to remain in shelters while they bring even more dogs into the country to satisfy their foolish fancies.

At least the OP isn't looking to being a St Bernard in.

Even sadder when you realise that they are effectively on death row. Some of the shelters here regularly practise euthanasia so that they have room for the endless stream of newcomers.

Good point, Tim. I would only add that shelters practice euthanasia for the same reason everywhere. It's probably better than staying in a cage for years on end. But unfortunate nonetheless.

I know this will bring down the wrath of many zealot animal lovers, but in Cyprus we need to carry out a humane cull of stray animals, especially cats!

Far too many of them around and GR's practice of using them to resurface the roads is inadequate.

Collect as many as possible and let them loose in mountains for hunting season...
