WD media player New from Public costs 109 Euro, I will go with that does exactly the same and you can download new software.

Small in size and can be fitted to any TV.

ty..

but if its that price in the shop i think ill go to the shop.

i use my ps3 as a divx/xvid player but a lot of the time when i try play movies there is no sound and converting the file format does not help..

ny guess is that since it plays fine on the lap top its the ps3 not having the sound codec.. and its better to watch a movie on a 60 inch screen rather then a 15 one.

i used to have a xvid dvd player from orfanides 20 cyprus pounds but u couldent put a usb in it

DANGAMAN I am not talking about a multimedia player.
I am talking about a DVD player which was bought around 190 euros with dolby DTS, subwofer connection, center speaker connection, coaxial, optical, s-video, scart, Y video output, Cb/pv video output, Cr/Pr video output

I liked that "I used to have"
5 out of 20 electric/electronic items from orphanides will not work after a while.
Don't be misled by their prices.
Also don't be fooled by a big store like public. it has the worst prices around along with bionic and megaland.
some friends and I, just pass from public when we are at the mall just to laugh with idiots who buy at those prices.
we cypriots are like sheep. when someone goes somewhere, a big queue of other sheep is following.
Just look around and you will find prices 30%-50% cheaper than those shops.
Believe me, I bought a canon video camera for 290 euros and 3 months later I saw it at public for 420 and the price was discounted. I asked them which was the previous price and they told me 460.
a year ago I bought a kingston usb stick 8gb at 26 euros and public price was 49
thank you but no thank you :)
so, if you are interested in that wd media player just search a bit and you can find a better price than 109
