I have just reecived the following message, which I believe to be a scam. Beware.

Dear user of the timdrayton.com mailing service!

We are informing you that because of the security upgrade of the mailing service your mailbox ([email protected]) settings were changed. In order to apply the new set of settings click on the following link:

I think I got one too Tim but I deleted it...Can't check if the message is the same...

I think of myself as being fairly savvy, but I actually clicked on that link before thinking, "Hold on a minute."

I use the free programs of Spybot and AVG for security...I don't know if there are better ones out there. I used to use Norton but AVG found more bugs. :?

there are a lot of scam and malware programs and hackers are quite niffy at designing them. there are some on msn messenger and they have links for you to click on, while you are under the impression you are about to view your friend's photos, the viruses are eating you :)
