Is anybody else glad that winter is coming and that god forbidden street is closing down?

Why does it make you glad that it's closing down? Can't you just avoid the place? Bar street doesn't close down in the winter, some bars do and some don't.

Yes i know it's a buff to the Paphos Economy what with all the tourists throwing their money on spiked drinks and stuff, but try and go out with your kids to that place... Or even go by yourself, if you're (or feel) young/old enough. I've seen with my own eyes people spiking drinks, theres always the fights, i've seen knives pulled at some bars, or how about the drunk idiots, starting very early from about 10 or 11? Trust me i think all the money invested there could very well go to some other venue that would bring in the same amount of money or hey , even more.

It's a hole ! it always will be, even when they clean up the place. Alcohol attracts money, young people go there to get pissed, eat, vomit and fight when they have had their fill.
Will it change ? maybe but only if the drink it too expensive.
