BI-COMMUNAL COMMITTEE WORKS TO PROTECT CULTURAL HERITAGE IN CYPRUS



The bi-communal technical committee on Cultural Heritage continues its work for the preservation, physical protection and restoration of the immoveable cultural heritage in Cyprus.
The Committee cleaned the Ayios Terapon Church located in the Aslankoy(Angastina) village in the TRNC yesterday.

The technical committee on cultural heritage was established within the context of the agreement dated 21st of March last year between Mehmet Ali Talat and Christofias which highlighted the start of comprehensive negotiations in Cyprus.
The Committee carried out its first activity with the cleaning of the Evdim Mosque located in South Cyprus earlier this month.
