alot of the therapists on the island are not qualified.
a course to do manicur in uk is 6 months part time, in cyprus im not sure.
in uk and cyprus a nail tech course is two days, but takes approx 300 hours to actually master the application.
any one who practices and isnt qualified risks doing damage ans they have no idea of the anatomy side of it or the under standing of contra-indications or how to recognise a skin dissorder or disease.
I worked in a 5 star spa and couldnt believe how many girls were not qualified and was constantly correcting them...i everntually got them the sack.....

it was neither of these, It wouldnt be fair for me to name as im in touch with the boss there.
I was offered a very good job at the new holtel in paphos...coastal resort as spa manager..12 treatment rooms, my own office, staff under me, flexi hours, perfect to be able to run a place like that and see it for years knowing I was first there!!!
I cant say what the salary was they offered but i had to turn it down it was such a back salary package!!!
are you thinking of going on a nail course or something?

i also applied there they offered me head reception... the salary was pathetic. and the management was too laid back. i spoke to other staff there and they all had bad comments to make about the hotel. i heard that they used to put towels and card board human cut out in the rooms to give it the impression that there were guests in the hotel. the rooms were lovely though.

no nail courses, just curious..
