jobs not affected by the crises ??

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

jobs not affected by the crises ??

Postby sniper » Sat Oct 10, 2009 1:45 pm

I was thinking the other day, quite beside myself, and set off a few fire alarms :)

I could not think of any jobs that will not be affected in the winter when we all take a hit caused by the crises except for prostitution. It is the only market that has a steady income ... wow hey..

I agree there... working from the comfort of your own home... meeting new people...

Basically a job you can do with your legs up

where there is demand, there will always be a supply

actually organized prostitution (cabarets to you and me) have taken a big hit recently

many will soon start to close

several reasons:

1) the novelty of shagging hookers while your wife and kids are asleep at home has started to wear off for many of the cyps

2) its expensive in there. you gotta buy them 3 drinks at 20 euros a pop before you can even cop a feel

3) government regulations introducing new visas for 'artistes'

4) negative press, most of it stemming from the US report which put Cyprus high on human trafficking list

biggest reason of all :

5) most pros now realize they can go freelaance and dont need the sweaty pimp creaming off all their earnings. the fashion now is for two or three of em to set themselves up in a luxury apartment and find customers via websites like mambo etc. more discreet for the client too as his wife doesnt spot his merc parked outside crazy girls when she pops out to pick up some milk and a loaf from zorpas

above info from my cypriot friends who are big fans of hookers

never been to one myself

also dont understand the desire by cyp men (i am one myself but dont feel this way) to shag anything in sight, including other men (army)

is it a med thing ?

Your right!

why can't Cypriots get their priorities right and be more like the discerning Brits, i.e. Priorities in order:

1. Get pissed
2. Get pissed evenmore
3. Sing ingerland, ingerland, ingerland.....
4. Get into a fight

Meanwhile some one else is shagging their wife or girlfriend (usually a cyp man who will shag anything in sight).

PS it's not 3 drinks, it's 5 drinks and a tip for the hooker.

PPS do you know about the army thing from first hand experience? You seem to know a lot on the matter.

not direct experience, thank God

but i did my obligatory 6 months in the army here and saw how some of them were shagging each other senseless

there was usually 3-4 'pushties' in the camp, and the rest would shag em. the shaggers were not gay of course, only the shag-ee

i beleive the motto in there was 'its better to give, than to receive' !
