TC land in the south being used for building Homes!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

So all this about an article that quotes what President Papadopoulos  just did and that does not include TC land?

So there is no evidence that kochans to tissy land have been made over to refugees in the Free Areas ... Cos it ain't happened.

What has occurred, and you will all be aware of this and know people in this situation ....

1. Immediately post-invasion Refugees took shelter for months and in some cases for up to two to three years in large Refugee Camps under Canvas.

2. Some were allocated to tissy houses - many are still there. No kochans.

3. Others were moved in to hastily erected, poor quality, prefab estates. No kochans.

4. Increasingly people were moved in later and recent years to better built permanent homes on government land. Some now have kochans.

5. Grants and low-cost loans were made available for self-builds on government land with kochans.

Given the devastation and the huge scale of the problem the RoC acted marvellously to house 200,000 Refugees.

Again if VP, Freddie, Insan and others ( and they have been asked a dozen times above ) have evidence that tissy deeds have been given to Refugees, post it

I have visited the "refugee camp" in Limasol (right next door to a motorway intersection) where GCs have built homes on TC land, these homes are neither sub standard or look like they should be knocked down. Are these included in the deeds scandal?

Nope our builders are great! :D ... no sub-standard workmanship anywhere. If you liked those houses so much, they will be your gifts when you return.

(We know how much TCs like free gifts!)

Thanks for clearing up this matter. This entire episode has been a pack of Turkish bullshit. It's pathetic how keen the Turks are to try and make out that the G/Cs are as bad as they are. That is what their arguments amount to. They acknowledge they are disreputable bunch of thieves then come onto a public forum and say that it's okay because the Greeks are at it too. Then it turns out it just isn't true.

So all we are left with is the fact that Turks are self-acknowledged thieves who think it's okay because everyone else is the same. Clearly not. Do these people have no shame? No self-regard at all? At least the G/Cs have a sense of honour. There are some things we will not stoop to. We will not behave like the occupiers. We will not stoop to their level. We are better than that.

Which bit of the illegality do you find difficult to understand old boy. There are 8500 homes built on TC land which was not and cannot be expropriated. This was reported by GC Newspaper. Don’t worry about the evidence old boy as my ol man used to say “It’ll be on the table”

Oh Gawd, surrounded by propagandists and illiterates and PettyFoggers!

This is the section in the newspaper article that refers to 8500 ...

The government also decided to allot and grant government land to around 8,500 displaced persons who permanently and legally reside on the island in housing estates that were built in Turkish Cypriot land which was not expropriated nor can be expropriated.

..."..Not Expropriated Nor Can Be Expropriated ..." is what it says. Isn't that clear. It couldn't be any clearer if it were balougee shaped and rammed Up Your Bum!

Let's make it even clearer (if such a thing were needed or even possible, but nonetheless let me have a go...)

Where in these lines does it say that the plots of Government Land that have been granted is the same (tissy) land ???? Don't you get it yet? It ain't the same land!!!!!!!

So still waiting for VP, Freddie and Insan to post evidence of the transfer of kochans from Tissies to Gricee Refugees.
