If what the TC side say is true - about the efforts in 1963 and 1974 to remove the Turkish Cypriot presence on the island - then I say that the Greek Cypriots actually got off pretty lightly. If however, what you say is true, then I would have to agree. So the question is: who is telling the truth? I sided with the TC's because (a) they were a minority in a country with a majority that had (and still has) a historical antipathy to them, and that the 1974 coup stagers had clearly said that they would have removed all Turkish Cypriots from the island. I despise bullies, and from what I have read and what I have heard from my TC friends, it sounds more plausible their side of things.

The TCs would have you selling yourmother if it meant getting their way, but hey you are a Turk, so you feel compelled to support them, fine, just don't play the middleman here because you fool no one.

Well, I must have fooled you. I am a New Zealander who is also a naturalized American. I actually have no Turkish blood in me. I have Turkish Cypriot friends though...

I use to visit the ATCA forum so i know your not Turkish but you do have a Turkish wife and your views are skewed, one-sided, and not balanced.
