Yes, Tim. 10 idiots of supreme broadcasting board who have a little knowledge abt Turkish and TC dialect recommended avoid using TC dialect improperly but they failed to articulate it because their lack of Turkish language knowledge and caused misunderstanding of almost everyone except some people.
Btw, I voted for that poll twice... and still have a chance to vote it one more time today... lemme give it a go. Check it after a few mins.
I would agree there. They use the colloquial expression 'diye' in a formal, official announcement in which they talk about defending 'beautiful Turkish' from corruption. Go figure, as the Yanks say.
By the way, I voted once, and am one of the 77%.
