How about a Morocco Vs Laos… any takers? 8)

Britain, Greece and Turkey are all very relevant in any war scenario, as all are guarantors with military bases in Cyprus. God knows what Australia has to do with anything though.

GR claims that a "super-power" such as France could be "bribed" to support a possible GC military offensive against TRNC. What would be the bribe by the way? Giving away the 80% of the so-called oil reserves of Cyprus to France?

Poor Insan... he is still struggling to comprehend why Greek Cypriots are fed up of "negotiating" with a monkey for 35 years!

I can very well understand u and all other GCs, GR... It is too difficult for u to digest the political equality of "Ottoman remnants", "relics" in Cyprus... U feel sore abt 350 years lasted Ottoman rule...

It's u that still struggling to comprehend why TCs insist on political equality and if not accepted by GCs a seperate state...

Fance, has already been “bribed” (read exchanged good & services with Cyprus) back in 2007 when France took on the management of UNIFIL (Lebanon vs Israel UN force), so they needed a base from which their planes and ships could come and go which Cyprus was happy to provide in Paphos, and in exchange the CNG received the best short range S2A technology that money could buy.

That’s another thing the TAF has to worry about because I doubt they have ever encountered anything like that when they made a few incursions in the abandoned northern mountainous region of Iraq chasing after the PKK riding goats!

PS: France has enough nuclear missiles to blow the planet to smithereens many times over, and a space program (Ariane) that craps all over NASA!

And not to mention the world renowned French Legionnaires…

And they are the manufacturers of the world’s best fighter jets…

So, yes… she’s a “superpower”! :D

Do they work though GR ? I seem to remember a year or so ago the French Defense Minister asking the same question.
Do agree regards the FFL but they have no strength in depth.

Well, a fighter-jet shootout goes way beyond the scope of this debate Purdey, but feel free to commence one and we’ll take it from there… (some of the Mirage models are my personal favorites and I should’ve stressed that). :)
