Now I understand that things are actually improving, and relations will eventually be normalised, but the Cypriot mentality has to be the 8th wonder of the world....

Charges of crimes against humanity filed against Cuban President Fidel Castro are proceeding "quite well," despite a lack of support from the Bush administration and self-proclaimed human-rights groups, according to Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

Thanks for that, but that was spotted.
A country such as Cyprus which is limited diplomatic resources, is probably also the only EU country that does not have consular services in New Zealand.
So why not open an embassy in New Zealand, for the benefit of expat Cypriots, and to also develop trade and diplomatic links with a nation of higher standing?

The Cypriot embassy in Australia is accredited in New Zealand as well.
